Deployment of the Volue Energy Trading Platform
Trondheim ICT company and +CityxChange partner Volue have developed and now deployed an innovative trading solution for energy, capacity, and system services. Specially designed for local markets!

+CityxChange at High-level Conference on Citizen Engagement in EU Missions
Helena Fitzgerald of University of Limerick and CommunityxChange Work Package Lead is attending the High-level Conference on Citizen Engagement in EU Missions taking place on 21 March 2022 in Paris.

Trondheim selected to be climate neutral by the EU by 2030!

Limerick: The third +CityxChange Open Innovation Call has just been launched with the theme ‘Social Innovation and Energy Collaboration’
Trondheim: EV Cars in the City of Trondheim
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FRIDAY 9TH OF JUNE at 5.00pm!
+CityxChange Open Innovation Calls are an invitation to the public to participate in the work of the +CityxChange project in Limerick.
We now have EV cars out in the city of Trondheim that is connected by V2G two-way-charging, effectively acting as a battery for the grid and our #PositiveEnergyBlocks
Pisek: Positive Energy Champions Mini-Series
Voru: The Bold City Vision of Voru has been approved and adopted by their City Council
FC Pisek has filmed the first part of their Positive Energy Champions mini-series on how to deal with the current energy situation. The short media piece includes valuable insights on photovoltaics.
On the 19th January 2022 meeting of the Võru City Council the vision document “Sustainable Võru 2050”, or the Bold City Vision was adopted. Vision 2050 is designed with co-funding from Horizon 2020 programme and principles and methodology created in the +CityxChange project.
DELIVERABLES IN THE SPOTLIGHT
The deliverable D5.13: +Trondheim eMaaS Demonstration was submitted by Avis Budget Group (ABG), Trondheim Kommune (TK), AtB, and FourC AS (4C) with contributions from NTNU, TK, ABB, TE, 4C, and Volue/POW in April 2022. Find the full deliverable and executive summary here.
he deliverable D6.1: Established Baseline and DST for each FC was submitted by Integrated Environmental Solutions Research and Development (IESRD) with contributions from MAI, MP, SB, SMO, VÕRU, and EAP in April 2022. Find the full deliverable and executive summary here.
The deliverable D6.3: Technical feasibility study of the potential PEB replications in each FC was submitted by Energy Agency of Plovdiv Representatives of Municipality of Alba Iulia, City of Pisek, City of Sestao, Municipality of Smolyan, and City of Voru with contributions from ARUP, NTNU, KPMG, and R2M in April 2022.
