The final Monitoring & Evaluation phase is an exciting time for the +CityxChange project! This phase is where the lessons learned from the previous five years of the project come together to form the final report on challenges, lessons learned and recommendations from the Lighthouse and Follower Cities. WP7, led by KPMG FA, have been collecting the insights of the cities and technical partners via the Qualitative and Quantitative Data Working Groups. These meetings inform our final deliverable and have produced fascinating insights and recommendations from all the partners. As a project, +CityxChange has led the development of multiple new facilities and research, whilst contributing to the renewable sustainability in all of its cities. We are busy collating all the data to showcase the great work of the project and it’s impact on all the cities involved.
D7.14 - Developing Practical Recommendations and Guideline Reports
The end of 2022 saw the publication of D7.14 which details, analyses and interprets the aggregated data collected during the M&E process, and deliver technical recommendations related to the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), energy, community, mobility, environmental and regulatory interventions implemented in the project. D7.14 offers an update on the functioning of the Evaluation Framework and provides clear recommendations and guidelines that have been produced in the reporting period between October 2021 and September 2022.
This work developed specific recommendations to cities that are looking to emulate the successes of +CityxChange and to develop the impact of renewables technology in cities across the EU. The table below outlines some of the recommendations and themes that we have developed in partnership with the cities and technical partners of CityxChange over the past year.
